Luciana Berger is the Labour and Co-operative Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree.
She was appointed Shadow Minister for Public Health in October 2013, having previously served for three years as the Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change.
During her time in Parliament, Luciana has campaigned on many issues including food banks, dangerous dogs and health. She is a member of the All Party Parliamentary Music Group, and has also sought to raise awareness about the Live Music Act. As well as this, Luciana was one of the first MPs to host a UK Music school skills day to promote the raft of employment opportunities in the music sector.
Luciana is a Digital Industries Ambassador and embraces social media. She uses Twitter and Facebook to interact with the public. She is also one of the few MPs who knows how to code.
Beyond politics, Luciana enjoys live music and film and is a keen photographer.
