Having cut her teeth in the live music industry and artist managmenet, Sarah Thirtle is now Head of Business Lending Programmes at Creative United.
Her current primary focus is the strategy and development of the Creative Industry Finance programme. It provides business advice and access to finance to creative and cultural enterprises across England, with the objective to build sustainability across the sectors, enabling the continuance of creative excellence and talent development. It is her belief that the blending of public investment (from Arts Council England) and access to social, alternative and commercial finance will drive smart, long-term sector growth.


Prior to working at Creative United, Sarah managed the communications at PRS for Music Foundation. She worked on a number of nationwide programmes including New Music 20x12 for the Cultural Olympiad and the launch of the Momentum Music Fund.
