When is the Festival?
The Sound City music Festival will be taking place over the second bank holiday in May. The live music festival dates are the 22nd until the 24th May.


Where is the Festival?
The festival will be taking place at Bramley-Moore dock, Regent Road, Liverpool, located just outside of the City Centre. The postcode for the event is L3 0AP

What time does the Festival Open?
The festival site will open at the following times…
Friday 22nd May - 3:30pm
Saturday 23rd May - 11:30am
Sunday 24th May - 11:30am

Last admittance into the festival site will be at 21:30pm. Anyone arriving after this time may be refused entry into the site.

What time are the bands on?

The festival site opens at 3:30pm on Friday, and 11:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Bands will start shortly after that and be performing throughout the day. The running order can be found here. Live guides and set times will be available on the day from our merch stand.

Headliners will be finished roughly around midnight with late night warehouse parties and DJs running until 3am each night.

Last entry onto the site will be 9:30pm


What time does the festival site close?
The festival will be open until 3am each morning with the last artists finishing around 2:30am…

Is there an age restriction on the site?
Yes, Sound City is strictly a 16+ event and Sound City strictly adheres to the challenge 25 policy, proof of age may be required and admittance will be refused if not provided. 

What Valid Forms of ID do you accept?
The valid forms of ID are Passport, Photo Driving Licence, PASS Card and Military ID. (If you require a PASS Card visit our FAQ section to find out how to register for one). Anyone found with a fake, or using another persons ID, will be removed from the site with the ID being confiscated.

How do I get there?
By Road
The festival site is located just off Derby Road (A565) by the Titanic Hotel Liverpool just outside of the City Centre. If you are using Sat Nav please use the postcode L3 0AP. Car Parking will be available near the festival site.

By Bus

Sound City are offering a bus service going from Liverpool Limestreet Station straight to the Sound City festival site. Tickets for the bus are available here. You will be required to book these tickets in advance.


By Train
Sandhills Station Liverpool is the closest train station to the festival site. After arriving at Sandhills station you will be greeted by Sound City Staff who will be able to direct you to the site. (It’s less than a 5 minute walk away) Sandhills station is accessible via the underground from Liverpool Central Station or Limestreet Station.

By Taxi
Black Cabs are available all over the City. It is roughly a £6 taxi ride from Limestreet station to the Titanic Hotel (next to the festival site). Please make sure you state it is on the Regent Road Side of the hotel.

Is there Car Parking?
There are lots of car parking facilities near the festival site, these will be signposted when you get near to the site.

Is there a place where I can be dropped off and picked up?
Yes there is a designated drop off/collection point near the festival entrance. Parking is not permitted here.

Is there camping at Sound City?
This festival is a metropolitan festival, there is NO CAMPING options available. If you require accommodation please visit the accommodation section of the website.

Is there anything I cannot bring onto the Sound City Site?

  • No drinks or alcohol to be brought in
  • No drugs
  • No weapons
  • No legal highs
  • No fake ID’s 
  • No glass
  • No food
  • No animals, with the exception of registered guide or hearing dogs
  • No flares or fireworks
  • No re-entry to single day ticket holders

Management reserve the right to refuse admission

Anyone who does not adhere to these rules will be ejected from the site, no re-entry will be permitted.
