Influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith and The Antlers, Emilio Pinchi carves his own perspective on folk-punk, offering a stark outlook on everyday life.
Staying true to his roots, 2014 saw Emilio release Trying Man, a track he produced in his kitchen after shunning a more traditional recording environment for a DIY approach. The lo-fi record has since grabbed the attention of critics and fans alike, drawing praise and airplay from BBC 6's Tom Robinson.
The latter half of the year has seen Emilio quietly cause further excitement, playing a plethora of unique shows which have included a support slot with Nell Bryden at Liverpool’s The Arts Club, an appearance on Bay TV’s televised launch show, and, in-keeping with his DIY ethos, a live performance on a train, which was filmed by Merseyrail.
Emilio will spend the first half of 2015 recording new material, with plans for a unique launch event later in the year.
