Since launching Scarlet (February 2014) the band have worked with Jon Withnall, (Coldplay’s Parachutes, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, and X&Y) and are currently working on the release of their first EP ‘// FISHES’, produced by local Liverpool producer and sound engineer John Murray (Lapsley, Aquillo, Decade, In Casino Out)
The new single ‘Anyway’ released 6th April 2015 and the bands debut EP ‘// FISHES’ is to follow on the 4th May. ‘Anyway’ has been included in BBC Radio 6 ’s ‘Fresh Faves’ Batch 146 - and Scarlet are gaining ongoing support and plays from the BBC Radio 6 music team.

The band are holding an EP launch party at Leaf Cafe in liverpool on the 30th April. They are playing various shows across the UK to promote the EP.
In their first year together (2014), Scarlet supported Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats, and played the huge London based festivals, Secret Garden Party, and Hop Farm Festival in July 2014. Scarlet also secured places supporting Neon Waltz, Pulled Apart By Horses, a set at Liverpools Concert For Gaza, and a slot supporting The Struts.
The band are maintaining a steadily growing organic fan base with continuous support from local Liverpool and Manchester music scene fanatics, venues, promoters, photographers, journalists as well as branching out and gaining support from BBCintroducing, BBC Radio 6, and other bands further afield. Jessie has also received direct endorsements for her music from Guy Garvey (Elbow).
Scarlet have been included in three ‘ones to watch 2015’ articles at the end of 2014 along with Lapsley, and Natalie McCool.
